I was contacted by a possible scam, what can I do?
At Transform Credit, your safety is our top priority. We’ve been made aware of fraudulent individuals and groups impersonating our company to scam people into paying advance fees in exchange for fake loan offers. These scammers are not associated with Transform Credit in any way.
Please read the following carefully to protect yourself:
What Transform Credit will never do:
-
We will never charge any upfront or application fees as part of your loan process.
-
We will never request payments via gift cards, Walmart cards, prepaid debit cards, cryptocurrency, or other non-traceable methods.
-
We will never contact you from personal or unbranded email accounts (such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail). All our emails come from @transformcredit.com addresses.
-
We will never ask you to share your online banking password, or transfer funds to “verify” your account.
-
We will never advise or encourage you to be paired with an unknown individual as your guarantor. Your guarantor should be someone you know and trust, never a stranger.

-
You're told to act urgently, or to keep the process a secret.
-
You're instructed to send gift cards, crypto, or other unusual payment methods.
-
You are asked to invite someone you do not personally know as a cosigner for your application.
